Hall HQ is a personal application operated by the Hall household. Its only users are the two members of the household, who are also the owners of all data it handles. Last reviewed June 2026.
Bank account information (account names, types, balances) and transaction history, retrieved read-only from our financial institution through Plaid; and the budgeting data we create ourselves — categories, targets, due dates, rules, and notes.
Bank login credentials — these are entered only inside Plaid’s hosted widget and are never seen, transmitted, or stored by this application. There are no visitors, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no tracking of any kind.
Solely to provide budgeting, bill tracking, and household organization to the household’s two users. There is no secondary use of any kind.
No data is shared with, sold to, rented to, or made accessible to any third party. The only external service involved is Plaid, acting as a read-only connection to our financial institution under its own privacy policy.
Data is stored encrypted at rest and transmitted only over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). Sign-in is Google OAuth restricted to an explicit allowlist of the household’s two accounts; no public registration exists.
Data is retained only while the household uses the application. Bank connectivity can be revoked at any time in-app, which invalidates access at Plaid itself. Complete deletion is available at any time by deleting the application database; no copies exist elsewhere.
